PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA: Vapour Products Association South Africa (VPASA) joins the global vaping community in commemorating VAPril. The world's largest vaping consumer education campaign held each year during the month of April and organized by the UK Vaping Association.
This worldwide campaign is targeted at consumers who are considering quitting smoking and those together with their families who are going through the process of quitting. Whether you’re a first-time vaper or you’ve never vape before – there’s more to learn and discover through experts' advice to help you make the necessary switch that could see you quit smoking for good. This is a life-changing opportunity to engage with world-leading experts.
The purpose of the VAPril campaign is to raise awareness about the benefits of vaping and most importantly:
- inform and educate consumers about the difference between vaping and smoking;
- provide specialist advice and support on making the right decisions about vaping and ensure a successful switchover from smoking;
- Share facts on vaping to help smokers switch to the less harmful alternative.
The campaign kicks off on Friday, 1st April and will run until the 30th of the month. It is an online campaign with a variety of digital educational touch points planned throughout the month.
